New Jersey

Over the years, the Adco Group has gained extensive experience in the design, manufacture and set up of modular power facilities. This has proven to be a flexible, cost-effective alternative for our customers that face ever-changing power requirements.

Adco is currently undertaking a project in Kingsland, New Jersey that is based upon this very principle.

Alternative fuel sources are the order of the day at this landfill gas facility where we have implemented the technology to produce power using the waste gas from the landfill.

This environmentally friendly solution to waste gases normally flared or emitted into the atmosphere provides an ecologically sound and financially viable alternative for plant owners & operators.

Having previously installed two generators for this facility, each completely contained in modular sea cans, we have been commissioned, due to a greater demand for power, to increase capacity of this 2 MW facility by 1 MW by adding a third generator.

With the module pre-fabricated in our Edmonton facility, Adco will ship the complete unit to New Jersey where we will have a project team to oversee the placement of the sea can on the concrete slab that has been laid for the addition and the tie in of the new unit into the existing power configuration.

This use of modular power facilities minimizes onsite construction costs. Set up of the modules simplifies the on-site installation, requiring only a concrete pad and therefore they can be easily added or removed for shipping to other locations or addressing maintenance issues thus meeting the customer's changing requirements.
